I LOVE BRUNCH!

What is the one time during the week that it is acceptable to drink alcohol with your breakfast? BRUNCH. For this reason, I love brunch. Call me a basic b****... I don't care, because I love mimosas and I love chicken and waffles. What makes a good brunch? First, you have to be surrounded with your best friends, family, or the man in your life. Second, you must have some sort of alcohol, coffee is only acceptable alongside alcohol, or if you are crazy hungover (is it really brunch if you don't?). Whether that be a mimosa, a Bloody Mary, or a glass of rose... alcohol has to be present in some form, or at least that's how it is at the brunches I like to attend. Third, you have to be eating something totally Snapchat and Instagram worthy, because did you actually go to brunch if you didn't post pictures on all of your social media accounts? I think not. And lastly, you have to put together the perfect brunch outfit. No matter how much you want to go to brunch in your pajamas or sweat pants, it is just not acceptable unless you're eating at Waffle House or IHOP.

So, when you're putting together your outfit you have to think fashion forward, but comfortable so that you can stuff your face (elegantly, of course) at your restaurant of choice. I personally love wearing a boyfriend jean, a platform heel or wedge, and whatever top I'm feeling for the day. This let's me feel super cute, while still feeling free to pig out at brunch, and hit the grocery store after if I need to! Brunch is your chance to play pieces that might be slightly more casual, and dress them up a little bit. You can't go wrong with an ironic brunch graphic t-shirt, but pair it with some chunky booties/heels. As long as you look put together, stylish, and ready to take on the day (or chug 3 mimosas), then you're sure to take the brunch world by storm!
